Present Tense

Tenses dibagi menjadi 3 , yaitu :
# Present
# Past
# Future

Present Tense (kebiasaan, waktu tertentu di waktu sekarang)

Ada 4 tenses didalamnya, yaitu :
Simple, Continuous, Perfect, Perfect Continuous

Simple Present Tense

Time Signal :
a. Always
b. Every
c. Sometimes
d. Usually
e. Hardlyever
f. Seldom
g. Rarely
h. Generally
i. Once/twice a day
j. Never
k. Ever

General Pattern
Verbal
(+) S(he, she, it) + V1 (s/es)
      S (I , you, we, they) + V1
Notes : (-) (?) untuk he, she, it memakai does
             (-) (?) untuk i, you, we, they memakai do
Nominal
(+) S + to be + Complement
To be ( are , am, is)

Example :
She buys milk every day
He is handsome every day

Present Continuous Tense (Sedang Terjadi Sekarang)

Time Signal :

1. Now
2. Right now
3. At present
4. At the moment
5. Today
6. Still

General Pattern :

(+) S + to be ( are, is, am) + Ving + O

Example :

I am walking now

My mother cooking fried rice in the kitchen right now

Present Perfect Tense (Sudah/telah dilakukan waktu sekarang dan ada hasil)

Time Signal :

1. Already
2. Yet
3. Lately
4. Recently
5. So far
6. Before
7. After
8. Never/ever
9. Just

General Pattern

(+) S + have/has + V3 + O

Notes : Have (I, you, we, they)

             Has (she, he, it)

Example :

She has already readthe novel

I haven't made a home work yet

Present Perfect Continuous Tense(telah... masih sedang terjadi sekarang)

Time signal :

1. Since +waktu
2. Since + simple past tense  (ketiga ket waktu ini selalu mengikuti di belakang kalimat)
3. For + waktu

Geberal Pattern :

(+) S + have/has + been + Ving

Example :

She has been working all days in the company since she graduated

John has been swimming for one hour
